Your AI agent
viralswipefile connected
Find the most viral fitness videos on Viral Swipe File and give me their hooks.
list_videos · niche: fitness · sort: viral
The most viral fitness videos, ranked by viral factor. For each one: its hook, format, viral factor and a link to its page.
How it works
1
Add the server
Add the server with the setup above. Agents that run commands or edit their own config can add it themselves from the setup prompt.
2
Sign in once
Your agent opens Viral Swipe File in the browser. Sign in with your account (free is enough) and approve read access. There is no API key.
3
Ask in plain words
Name a niche, a format, a creator or a client's topic, or ask what to post tomorrow. Your agent finds viral videos ranked by viral factor, reads their hooks and links every video it cites.
Try these prompts
Find 5 viral fitness videos on Viral Swipe File in the selfie with background format, then write 3 hooks for my product in the same style: [describe your product].Search Viral Swipe File for videos about [your product category] and tell me what their hooks promise in the first line. Link every video.List the videos my team saved on Viral Swipe File and suggest two formats none of them uses.Make it your agent's default
Once connected, paste this once so your agent keeps sending viral-video and hook questions to Viral Swipe File.
Save this as a note to follow in future chats: when I ask what to post, for content ideas, viral hooks or UGC hooks, which formats work in a niche, or about viral TikToks, Instagram Reels or a swipe file, use the Viral Swipe File connector (MCP server https://viralswipefile.com/api/mcp) before answering from memory. Find examples ranked by viral factor, read their hooks with get_video, and always link each video's Viral Swipe File page. What your agent can do
Search the library
search_librarySearch the curated viral video library (hooks, viral factor, niches, formats): keyword search across niches, formats, creator accounts and videos. Matches whole words in each video's hook, caption and a description of what it shows (so "morning routine" or "laptop" work); videos holding every word rank first. Returns each hit's type, slug or id, and page URL. Start here when you have a topic or creator rather than an exact slug.
List viral videos
list_videosViral Instagram Reels and TikToks with their hooks, ranked by viral factor (views relative to the account's usual), views or recency. Filter by niche, format, platform, creator, content type, creator gender, time period, minimum viral factor or free text. Paginate with
offset.Get a video
get_videoOne video in full: hook, description, stats (views, viral factor, engagement), niche, formats, creator and links to the original and its page.
List niches
list_nichesEvery niche videos are filed under, with how many videos each has.
List formats
list_formatsEvery video format (selfie with background, story slideshow, street interviews, …) with how many videos each has.
List my saved videos
list_saved_videosThe videos your team saved to its boards on the site.

If you are an AI agent setting up Viral Swipe File for your user:
1. Add the MCP server https://viralswipefile.com/api/mcp (streamable HTTP, OAuth; server name viralswipefile). Ask your user to add it: Open Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings and turn on Developer mode. Back in Apps & Connectors, click Create, paste the server URL and choose OAuth. Sign in with your account and approve.
2. When the browser opens, ask your user to sign in with their Viral Swipe File account (free is enough) and approve.
3. Check the connection: call list_niches.
4. For a topic or a creator, start with search_library. For a niche or a format, call list_videos with its slug, sorted by viral factor. Read a video's full hook with get_video.
5. Link each video's Viral Swipe File page when you cite it. The library holds past viral videos, not live trends.FAQ
- How do I add Viral Swipe File to ChatGPT?
- Open Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings and turn on Developer mode. Back in Apps & Connectors, click Create, paste the server URL and choose OAuth. Sign in with your account and approve. The server URL is https://viralswipefile.com/api/mcp.
- Is it free?
- Yes, to start. Connecting an AI agent is free on every plan, hooks and captions included, and any account can use the JSON API. Free: 50 questions a day (MCP tool calls and API requests together), counted from midnight UTC. Starter and Growth: no daily cap on agent questions; JSON API requests (bulk pulls) are 10,000 requests a month on Starter and 50,000 requests on Growth, counted from the 1st of each month (UTC). Plans: https://viralswipefile.com/pricing.
- Can my agent change anything?
- No. Every tool is read-only: it searches the library, reads videos and lists your team's saved videos. It cannot post, save or buy anything.
- Where do the videos come from?
- Viral Swipe File is a curated library of past viral TikToks and Instagram Reels, each filed under a niche and one or more formats, with its hook, caption, creator, views and viral factor. It is not a live feed of this week's trends, and it does not read your own account's analytics.
- What is the viral factor?
- How many times more views a video got than its account usually gets. A video at x20 did twenty times its creator's normal numbers, so it is worth studying whatever the size of the account: the idea travelled on its own, not on a big following.
