Me explaining that according to the Bible... Forgiveness doesn't require fake reconciliation. Jesus forgave on the cross—while they mocked Him. But He didn't invite unrepentant hearts back into closeness. He didn't rebuild trust without transformation. Because reconciliation without repentance? That's not healing. That's self-betrayal. God never asked you to pretend everything's okay. He honors truth over appearances. He cares more about your heart than keeping the peace. Forgiveness is sacred. But forced reconciliation is not required.
