Did you know that one of the reasons Jesus referred to His followers as "sheep" is because goats don't follow anyone. They do what they want. They eat garbage. They tend to wander. They isolate. Goats are known for causing more damage and can be aggressive. Jesus calls us sheep because we were created to need His leadership. His shepherding. He willfully calls Himself our shepherd. He loves to guide and protect. He knows the difference between a sheep and goat. He loves to provide.
